Meline's Lodge and Guide Service is a fully-equipped lodge on Sabaskong Bay, Lake of the Woods, Canada. We are a drive -to lodge located right in Nestor Falls. Melines Lodge boasts 6 luxury lakeside cabins, main lodge, office, dining room, bar and entertainment area. At Melines Lodge we provide our guests with a high end experience!

Walleye, northern pike, lake trout, crappie and bass (both largemouth and smallmouth) are plentiful, and the area is widely regarded as the best destination in the world for musky. We offer a wide range of services and amennities for the discriminating angler, who wishes to fish in a remote setting, without giving up all of the modern conveniences of home. Newly renovated cabins overlook Lake of the Woods -- the legendary Canadian wilderness waterway! With packages to suit any budget, Meline's can handle any level of service required by our visitors, whether it be a fully guided fishing trip, a relaxing stay in a lakeside cabin, or corporate retreat.

Meline's Lodge changed ownership in April, 2006, and the new team of owners come from a lodge management, guiding and customer service background. There are many options available to those wishing to visit Lake of the Woods, but Meline's is the only lodge you will go to where one of the owners is your guide!

Ice Fishing on Lake of the Woods

Meline's lodge is a year round resort with luxurious winterized cabins. During the winter months we cater to Ice-fishermen and snowmobilers.

We have excellent ice fishing for crappie, walleye and a perch all very close to the main lodge. Ice fishing for northern pike and lake trout is only 10-15 minutes from the lodge and has been excellent all winter.

We have all the equipment any ice-fisherman would need – permanent and portable ice fishing huts, auger, snowmobile and sleigh, bait, gas, and all the rods and tackle you need.
